Many hot afternoons were spent in the back of Mamma’s Ford Fairlane traveling from fabric store to fabric store in search of the silver lining. With hopeful prospects in hand, together my mother and I would spend hours and hours creating dress-up clothes for Chrissie, the doll who had a life of her own.
Who would have guessed that I would continue the tradition by making fashion for furniture?
I graduated from North Carolina State University School of Design with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Product Design. While in school, I participated in the Student Intern Program, working at IBM and Walt Disney World.
I have been designing for the textile industry ever since. I am passionate about connecting with creative people.
