What an amazing opportunity to participate with 40 amazing women in the Upholstery Weekend at Northfield Plantation in Cumberland, Virginia. This group of women upholstered 38 pieces of furniture for this beautiful plantation home that is being remodeled by the Northfield Foundation. Northfield is a non-profit ministry dedicated to providing a safe haven for young women struggling with challenges such as eating disorders, self-injury, and depression, which may be accompanied with an unplanned pregnancy, allowing each young woman to “break free” and embrace her future through God’s unconditional love and mercy.
